Frequently Asked Questions


Are the cars easy to drive? Are they Automatic?

Yes and Yes. It is very easy to learn how to drive all Dream Cars.  All cars have ‘paddle-shifters’ or you can simply put the car in automatic mode.   Ferrari and Lamborghini rarely produce a manual transmission car.  The efficiency of paddle shifters cannot be beat as they are yet still incredibly fun to drive.

How does insurance work?

All you need to carry is full-coverage insurance (liability, comp, and collision) and your personal insurance should carry over to the Dream Car.  Music City Dream Cars does not offer any additional insurance.

Can I get the car delivered or pick it up after normal business hours?

Yes. Our normal delivery hours are between 10am and 6pm, but we will be happy to work with you to accommodate your night owl or early bird needs. The delivery charge is $100 and can vary per distance; there may be a small extra charge for you to pick-up the car from our showroom during non-business hours.

I only want the car for an hour.

Our minimum rental fee covers up to 3 hours. You’re welcome to use the Dream Car for the full 3 hours, or you can use the vehicle for a shorter amount of time and return the car early. We understand that many of our clients only have a need for a vehicle for a time period of less than 3 hours, however by granting hour-by-hour rentals, we are eliminating the possibility that we can rent the car to another customer for a full day (not to mention all the detailing, fuel runs and supplies it would cost to get a car ready every hour). Thank you for understanding.

Why do I have to leave a security deposit?

Because we offer high-end exotic vehicles worth well over six figures,  it is our policy to collect a refundable security deposit of $2,500.   Once you return the car undamaged, you will receive your check or cash back in full, or if you paid by credit card, the pre-authorization or 'hold' amount will drop off within 1-2 business days.  In the rare case that something happens, we will work with you to find the best solution.  A small rock chip or scratch will not warrant you losing any portion of your security deposit.

Can I rent with an international License?

Yes. We will however require a higher security deposit, proof of foreign insurance, as well as an ID/Passport.
